Be extra vigilant if you're planning on touring Ireland any time soon. A network of privatised mobile speed cameras is set to go live across the country's roads as of today.
The cameras are due to be deployed gradually over the coming months and are expected to be fully operational by February 2011.
The scheme is part of a five-year, 65 million euro government contract with the GoSafe consortium to target black spots for speed-related traffic collisions.
